Hello Sgt Johnson and Sgt Lewis.

I spoke with Sgt Johnson tonight about my schools Toys For Tots idea. Dupo and Columbia High School will be accepting toys November 30th- December 15th. We hope that this year we will be able to raise at least over 100 toys to give to you guys. Since Air- Force JROTC is the only connection to both schools we thought it would be fun to make it a bragging rights as a reward. Both School’s have approved and Student Council is willing to help and support this awesome cause! The Local recruiter SSGT Lewis is helping us give boxes not only that local bussiness are thinking of letting us put fliers in windows and bullient boards as well. Both towns are very small so we hope that this great cause will not only bring the Schools Together but perhaps the communites as well.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Sgt Johnson for not only serving our Country but our children as well. I have been inspired by the “Literacy” program. My son is now in Second Grade and all 3 teachers he has had since Kindergarten “Reading” is a major strength and as I see the kids move into each grade I have seen the difference in the abilities and Mrs. W., Mrs. R., and Mrs. P. has inspired me to make the difference where I can.

I am starting with one classroom at a time and the attitude just one days change can make a change. The first classroom has really gone above and beyond and I have my sons TKD school going to run a campaign for us in February.

Thank you again for providing such an important part of the children in our community that need the materials to grow and become productive young people.
